CHEESE STUFFED MEATBALLS
Ingredients
1 1/2 lbs. (.680 kg) ground beef or half beef and half pork
1 Tbsp. Oh! So Onion
1 tsp. Sunset Seasoned Salt
1 packet Street Taco Dip & Cheeseball Mix
1 egg, slightly beaten
1/3 cup bread crumbs or panko
2 Tbsp. water
1/2 brick (125 g) cream cheese , diced into small squares
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F. Place the first 7 ingredients in a mixing bowl, mix thoroughly. Using a spoon or small scoop, scoop up a golf ball sized amount of the meat mixture. Flatten to form a round disk. Place a cube of cream cheese in the centre of the meat, then wrap the meat around the cream cheese, sealing it inside. Place cream cheese stuffed meatballs on a parchment covered baking sheet. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden, turning once. Serve as an appetizer or simmer meatballs in a pasta sauce and serve over pasta.
Pasta Sauce:
Store bought Pasta Sauce combined with 2 teaspoons Mediterranean Greek Seasoning Blend.
